1: Double the damage of all weapons. Right now the maximum potential of weapons basically makes it so that only 3 or 4 meta builds are really viable, and if your build centers around one weapon type don't even think about bringing along a different type as a backup because that thing will be less than useless. Your build is centered around full auto rifles? You want to bring a hand gun, or maybe a knife for when enemies close the distance? HA! YOU FOOL! ITS ANOTHER FULL AUTO RILFE OR NOTHING!!! 2: Get rid of the weight limit for storage. If I remember correctly the weight limit is something that didn't exist and was added later by Bathesda. Or maybe it did exist and was made more restrictive. Can't remember which. In any case its awful and further bottlenecks the way you play the game to the point where you're just focusing on doing one specific thing at all times. Both of these things together make the game feel really restrictive, tedious, and claustrophobic. And of course both of these issues can be solved by... Pulling out your credit card and giving Bethesda more money! Yay! If you have a Fallout 1st sub you can make a private world and tweak those mechanics that make the game feel really restrictive, and you also get access to the scrap box in all game modes, which turns scrap into a non-issue in terms of weight management. It's actually insane How much the scrap box mitigates the issue of inventory management, to the point where I would say a 1st subscription is almost a necessity, or at the very least renewing every couple months for a single month so that you can dump all the scrap you've been collecting into a bottomless pit. As much as I hate recommending paying a subscription fee for a game that already costs money, It does unfortunately make the experience so much better. I just wish Bethesda would let 76 be a good game without charging people for that luxury.

Released a broken unfinished game and "fixed" it with paid DLC and subscriptions. Buying/playing this is giving these company's permission to keep taking advantage of players. I'm sure its fine now have some self respect.

I beat the game when I was younger when it first came out, and had a lot of fun. I recently bought it again and I had a blast playing it again. It’s definitely got its fair share of jank, but it was the first game I wanted to come home to play for the first time in a long time

Not many games can revive itself like 76 did. What with a map expansion coming out soon and all these new additions idk to me its my second favorite or maybe even #1 fallout now

I started playing on pc after quitting console at launch after 250 levels of meh. Pc is so much better feeling w this game. Feels like Im playing modded fo4 to a degree. And falloyt with friends is finally enjoyable.

Just came back a fresh account last week and I actually played an event with you a few days back, pretty sure it was the Moonshine Jamboree, anyways that was actually my first time completing it and I had a blast! You earned a new sub for you and your squad keeping the gulpers off of me 🫡

Theres a part in this game that ruined me as a kid where the flying monsters are nesting and you have to kill all of them but they were too realistic for my liking i was TOO scared to progress XD

Kinda sad to think we’ll most likely never have another multiplayer fallout again. I love the other fallouts but there is something so amazing about being in a wasteland with other human being. It actually feels alive and it feels like it’s healing. Easily my top 5 games of all time.

Fallout 76 is good until mid game weight management hits you, then you either drop/sell your goods due to weight limited storage, or pay a monthly sub fee to increase storage capacity. 76 is fun, but not worth it in my opinion. Especially if you paid for it only to have to pay a sub

76 is unironically my favorite one. The “Fallout with friends” idea is one I really hope moves with the series to an extent, though less like an MMO and more of a classic fallout style.

My STILL biggest gripe with the game is that zoomed shots don't let you leave the scope until the recoil wobbling is done, even though you let go of the button as soon as you fire. I hate it!

I feel like everone talking about "is fallout 76 good now" always fails to address how much harder it has become to run this game on PC. I used to have 100+ fps but ever since pit and updates around that time I average like 50 fps and am lucky if i can get more fps in spots.

Still just a game that is entirely calculated to get people to spend money in game. There are some pretty hard level caps to progressing the main story and dailies and events get repetitive. A lot of the events are just straight up borked. I did one at Poseidon and even though I repaired everything, I still couldn't complete the event for some reason. So I didn't get the reward and ended up burning through all my ammo and breaking my best guns. They are mostly an annoyance, auto activating just because I happen to get near one on my way to do something else. Next thing you know, you're being swarmed by enemies you aren't powerful enough to handle. Leveling mechanics make it feel like you are always a noob just struggling to get by. The game is mostly a crafting/cooking/eating and drinking sim. Enemies are bullet sponges. 6:28 This is literally the exact same spot I chose to relocate my camp because I kept having issues with too many people having chosen my original location. There are literally some hard level caps for progressing the main story. For example the 'Follow the Overseer' quest, you get to a point where there is a level 75 monster you have to kill while also being potentially attacked by both Super Mutants and Blood Eagles simultaneously. There are definitely places on the map I can't go even at level 50. It is annoying how quickly enemies spawn back in in FO4. In FO76, I've had them respawn on me just because I went back to my camp to drop some stuff off, which you will be doing frequently. The moment you think you just need a couple of guns and light provisions, you'll end up running out of everything at the worst possible moment. Gotta carry a heavy everywhere you go because you WILL need it. The game doesn't give you enough SPECIAL points for the ridiculously high levels you can attain. By level 50 you are capped. In a game where you have level 600+ players, this makes no sense. I've also run into a hard wall with crafting because you only get a perk card pack every 5 levels but I need to be able to do rank 4 gunsmith stuff to effectively take on the enemies I am facing. Because of the randomness, I might be stuck at rank 2 for another 50 levels. TL;DR - FO76 is just another garbage P2W game. It is like playing FO4, except boring and annoying. I bet the next FO game won't have parkour mechanics either and will still be built on the now obsolete Creation engine. It will probably be Starfield set in the Wasteland.

I dunno, the thing that keeps me away from 76 is the sheer fact that it's a live action grindfest. At least, that is what I've been told.
